How should a CVT be installed, used and lubricated?

Installation, use and lubrication

I. Installation:

1. Do not hit the output shaft hard when adding couplings, pulleys, sprockets, etc. Apply the output shaft outer screw holes, screw in the screws and press in the coupling.

2、When installing the base-type stepless speed changer on the foundation, the machine should be calibrated for the installation centerline elevation, levelness and relevant dimensions of the connected parts, and the coaxiality of the calibrated drive shaft should not exceed the permissible range of the coupling.

3、Vertical MB stepless speed changer can be installed at any angle, the oil level must exceed the centerline of the oil mark on the higher side.

II. Use:

1. Before use, the stepless speed changer and reducer should be added with specified lubricant respectively.

2, MB stepless speed changer working environment temperature does not exceed 40 ℃, working oil temperature surface shall not exceed 70 ℃. If the higher input revolution and new machine use will appear slightly higher temperature rise, after saturation operation 80 hours, the temperature rise gradually reduce, thereafter, the temperature rise in the ambient temperature of 20 ℃ -25 ℃ and maintain a stable temperature rise.

3、MB stepless speed changer must be turned on before adjusting the speed, otherwise the parts will be damaged.

4、When the stepless speed changer is shipped from the factory, the speed limit screw has been adjusted in the limit position, and shall not be adjusted arbitrarily, so as not to damage the parts.

5. The stepless speed changer shall not be used beyond the rated torque T.

6. The stepless speed changer is suitable for forward and reverse running.

7. If the motor is replaced, the original oil-sealed motor flange should be retained so that the lubricant does not slip into the motor.

III. Lubrication:

1, MB stepless speed changer special lubricant must use Ub-1 or Ub-3 traction fluid, in any case, to ensure that the traction fluid is provided according to the oil standard quantitative. The traction fluid should be replaced after 500 hours of operation of the gearbox, then once for another 1,000 hours of operation, and then every 2,000 operating hours or so thereafter.

2、MB primary gear section uses grease lubrication, and molybdenum disulfide grease has been added at the factory, and the grease is generally replaced once every 12~18 months of work.
